About me.
Hi there, lovely to meet you. I’m Henrietta Garden and I’m a professional photographer based in Crouch End, North London. You may be sitting in front of my camera sometime soon, so it’s probably comforting to know a little about me.
Before I was hiding behind the camera, I spent the first twenty odd years of my life on the other side of the lens as an actress. After studying at the ‘Royal Academy of Dramatic Art’ I went on to perform in theatre, film and telly before having my three kids.
It was when I had my children and began taking endless photos of them that I found my passion for photography and a whole new career as a professional photographer. I started by photographing local families and their kids. Soon I became the go-to photographer of North London before deciding to move on to shooting the grown-ups taking actor and business headshots. As an actress who hated having her photo taken and with memories of those awful shoots still firmly stuck in my memory I made the decision to go to every length possible to make anyone I shoot feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. To me, this is the key to a great shoot and just about the most important requirement of a photographer. I’m so pleased that, judging by the comments I get from my lovely clients, it does seem to be something I’ve managed to do. That’s probably the part I’m most proud of!
A decade into the photography business and I’m even more passionate about what I do. I’m so excited to have been featured as Shutterturf’s top Portrait Photographer in London this year – it’s always lovely to see your work appreciated 🙂
I’m lucky to always have wonderful clients and love to work with all the different characters who sit in front of my lens. There’s always a lot of chat and laughter. It’s a very far cry from the shoots I was subjected to in my other life! Come along and see for yourself!

Terms and Conditions
A non-refundable booking fee of 25% is required to secure the booking with the remaining balance to be paid before the shoot.
Client Cancellations
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the session date may transfer the booking fee to a new date, subject to availability.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the session date will forfeit the booking fee.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session date will be charged 100% of the session fee.
Photographer cancellation
In the unlikely event that the photographer is unable to attend due to illness, emergency or circumstances beyond their control, all monies will be refunded in full, or an alternative date will be offered.
Weather
For outdoor sessions, weather-related postponements will be rescheduled at no additional charge where possible.
By paying the booking fee, the client acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
